Seedless grapes a dissapointment in VA

I purchased two varieties several years ago from Home Depot (THAT may have been the problem!). They were Lakemont (green seedless) and I believe the other was Suffolk (Red seedless). They established quickly and last summer I got quite a bumper crop. The green were a bit sweeter. Problem was, none of the grapes were SEEDLESS! All had at least 1 or 2 seeds. They were planted next to each other -- would that make a difference? Or did I simply get sold a seeded variety? I guess I should have gone to a 'more reputable' dealer. Any suggestions?
