Comments (3)I have some cuttings of a nightblooming ceres. It is white and the original plant I got mine from was over 30 years old and my plant is now over 15 and bloomed for the first time last year. It has a wonderful flower that smells heavenly but only lasts for a single night. I don't know what the cultivar name was as the origial was donated to my science green house when I was in college. (yes I just dated myself LOL). It is an indoor/green house plant that I set out in the summer and bring in before the nights get down past 50 but I have heard of similar ceres surving in an unheated house for up to two weeks. Some folks always bring seeds, and there will be plenty of veggie starts too, more than likely. We have a good time!
