Need: Hungarian Sweet Banana Pepper Seeds

I am seeking seeds for Hungarian Sweet Banana Peppers. These are the variety that stays a rich yellow color, not changing to green or red. As the farm from which I always bought them went out of business and I did not save any from my harvest, I cannot locate them locally.

In exchange I can offer seeds for Rose of Sharon (mixed: pink, purple in 2 shades, and white). I can also offer some strawberry plants which I am willing to dig up. They are from 3-year-old plants of June bearing, Ever Bearing, and one other type, which I cannot remember. This early in the year, I cannot tell them apart, so I would not be able to specify which you were getting. If none of those are acceptable, I also offer a warm thank you and note of gratitude:)

Even info on a source for the seeds would be welcome information. Thanks.

I looked for a source, but all of them describe the color change that you don't want.

As the farm from which I always bought them went out of business and I did not save any from my harvest
Is it maybe possible to contact the previous owner to see if they may still have seeds? They sound rather uncommon, so maybe they would have them and be sharing them with folks? Just a idea.

I am in a similar situation trying to locate a locally bred tomato, after the one greenhouse that carried them went out of business.

I have some extra sweet banana pepper seed for SASBE or SASE. They are fairly small seeds so SASE should be fine. I'd put some closed cell foam with them to ensure somewhat safe delivery. Let me know if you are interested.

That's pretty easy seed to find. Do your have lowe's or home depot in your area. When they put out the seed racks there is always sweet banana pepper. If you want I have some NK sweet banana pepper seeds. The sell by date is 12/11. You can have them if you want. Still a lot of seeds in the pack.

You've never had pickled cucumber relish? I made both dill pickle relish and sweet pickle relish this summer, and then I made Tim a relish that is like what my father used to call Chow-Chow. I just let the food processor chop, slice or grate them. It is such a time-saver. Here's the recipe for pickled cucumber relish: NCHFP Recipe--Pickle Cucumber Relish And here's the one for Dill Pickle Relish: NCHFP Recipe: Dill Pickle Relish If you have fresh dill at the same time you have cucumbers, you can make this Fresh Dill Cucumber Relish: Fresh Dill-Cucumber Relish At this link from the NCHFP, there are tons of relish recipes, including sweet pepper relish, apple relish and onion relish (so yummy!). The recipe for Dixie relish here is the one I made for Tim that reminds him of my Dad's chow chow. We were overrun by cucumbers. I made all kinds of fermented pickles, often with up to 4 batches of food fermenting at the same time (requiring lots of sticky notes to remind me which batch was on which day) and all kinds of regular pickles and quick pickles and relishes, finishing up the season with cinnamon pickles (aka mock apple rings) and even when I was through, the cucumber plants weren't so I fed a lot of pickling cukes to the chickens. It was probably the best cucumber year ever. I don't know how we'll ever eat all the pickles I made, but I have noticed that once we open a jar, it doesn't last long so I expect we'll manage to gobble them up much more quickly than I think.

I've also been searching for the same pepper seeds (no easy task). I love Lesco and after my last trip to Hungary, the frying peppers I've been using no longer cut it for me!!
