Corn transplanting and a pepper variety question

I thought I had planted our sweet corn far enough apart, but somehow we ended up with some plants way too close together and bare spots in other places. The plants are about 8" - 10" tall. Would they survive being dug up and put in the bare places?

Also, one of the 50-cent 6 packs I bought the other day was a variety of pepper I haven't grown before. I'm sure it's a very common variety if Kroger is selling it, but I don't know anything about it: Hungarian Stuffing. Is it a hot pepper, a sweet pepper, something in between? How big are the peppers when they are full-grown? Are they a green variety or do they turn red?

Thanks so much for all your help. My gardens have been doing so much better since I found GW and all the great folks here!!

:^)
