I don't think it is improper to post the same question on multiple forums. It is done with quite regularity. The new owners don't seem to care much it seems unless there is vulgarity. I have seen several people posting on the same forum under different aliases and even answering their own questions. That is rather pathetic, and borders on madness I think, but anyway that is neither here nor there.

What new owners? Has Gardenweb changed?

Carol, I-village bought out GardenWeb a few months back. That is one reason you are seeing more advertising and some changes like more pages to certain forums, etc. I'm sure there will be more changes to follow, some good, some bad.

But it's their bats, ball, bases and field,..we're just here to play!

Dunwaukin, it isn't happening here on this forum. And I don't want to give some of these people ammunition or undue extra attention by mentioning which other forum(s) I have noticed this on. If you spend enough time around some of the forums you can notice some trolls causing trouble and inciting others. But that is true all over the internet, not just here on GW. Best to just ignore it all, although at times that isn't easy.

you know, i'd never thought that it might be the same people trying to incite a fight. sounds reasonable tho. my biggest problem is with the adds, my pages are refusing to load, after the adds are loaded, but (sigh) thats the price we pay to get all this free.
