It's taken 4 weeks for my French Bfast to even noticeably bulb up and I haven't pulled any to see how big they are. But your leaves are a lot bigger. I'm thinking too much nitrogen (hard to believe with all the rain, unless you've been fertilizing regularly). You can eat the leaves BTW.

Too much water, not enough sun... radishes will not form good roots. They need to get thirsty between watering. The radish bulb/root is just an emergency storage of water and nutrient. But when the soil is always wet, they don't feel like storing anything for emergency(When soil is lacking moisture). In rainy climates , it is difficult to train radishes. When they have about 4 real leaves, they should not given much water so they get thirsty. Their leaves get dark green . Then their STORAGE program kick in.

Ah, that makes sense. Hopefully the rain will leave us alone for a while.

I'd never considered eating radish greens, somehow the texture seems off-putting. But, I'm willing to try anything. Googling it, it seems they are used a lot in Indan cooking, which I love. Silver lining!

You may be surprised at how good radish greens are. I especially like them as an ingredient in soups such as Portuguese kale soup. They are tastier than many other greens. Cooked, texture is a non-issue. I have even found their texture to be fine raw in a salad of mixed greens.
