What type? There is Confederate Rose Hibiscus which will become a tree if allowed, which can be mailed as a stick when placed in water for about a month will start to root. Texas Star Hibiscus which have several shaped and color blooms. And hardy hibiscus Mallow types as well as the Rose of Sharon which do well from cuttings. Never have tried Star Hibiscus Cuttings, but looks like I need to later. My Rose of Sharon aren't large enough for cuttings so far but there seem to be plenty on this site that should have. I have red Star Hibiscus Seeds and a 10' Confederate Rose Hibiscus from which I have given at least 8 cuttings. Had to find they start best after soaking in a a container of water outdoors for a month. They have a very large bloom but only seem to bloom in the fall season except mine did start to bloom one spring but stopped until cooler weather came that year. I wouldn't even begin to know how much it would cost to ship a stick, have you checked with people in your area? which would save you time and money. Check with your local Master Gardener or extension agent they should be helpful. Let us know what you decide. Paul
