Am looking for seeds / seedlings of the montrose apricot. For trade, I have a lot of hybrid grape seedlings from controlled crosse. Most are muscat flavored.

Would like to try seeds of Montrose or Harglow Apricot. Can trade a few seedlings of Damson x Italian Plum. Also have a lot of grape hybrid seeds.

Hey, good for you. Me, I love to watch them grow, something green during a cold snowy winter. I start them in the house, then move them to the porch as it warms enough. I get 2 extra months in a big pot by using the porch, then they are big enough to mouse guard them when I put them out. I have a LOT of voles and rabbits, so large enough to take a mouse guard is important. Funny, now I have good luck with cherries and plums, I mostly use damp peat....don't know if the substrate matters or not. Sometimes I use a bag of damp clay from the compost and that works well too. What do you do with all your seedlings? Personal pleasure, a small breeding orchard? Some for sale?

Would like to grow a few 'Montrose' Apricots from seed. Better yet a few seedlings. Have heard it is the best one for the Puget Sound region.
