Can I plant Morning Glory back of the veg. bed?

I started some Morning Glory from seed (about 8) and I'm wondering if I can plant them between the tomato plants to grow up and on the plastic fencing we put around our vegetable bed.

I don't think they would compete with the veg. plants as I planted my tomatoes 2-3 feet apart.

I don't think they would compete with sunlight either since the bed is on the south side of the house and the vine would grow on the plastic fence and the tomatoes are caged and would higher than the fence.

I really love MG and I can't put them with my clematis - too many vines going everywhere.
