Blackberry Plants & Herb Seeds For Garden Seeds

IÂm getting ready to open a new area for garden space and am removing a bunch of volunteer blackberry plants (thorned) in the process, am interested in trading plants for garden seeds on the following terms:

Trader to pay flat rate priority shipping less $0.50 (to cover your postage cost) via paypal. Plants WILL NOT ship until payment for shipping is received due to a few bad eggs IÂve met here. Only 1 Packet of seeds is required, more would be appreciated but not required. I will jam as many plants as I can in the small Flat rate box, plants will all have fruiting wood but will be cut down hard to fit in the box.

In particular IÂm looking for:

Yellow crook neck squash

Acorn squash

Heirloom tomatoÂs

Home colleted heritage type green beans (no storage/dry please)

PepperÂs

IÂm open to about anything, please post what you want to trade here to reduce duplicates. Can also include various out of date (have not germination tested) herb seeds if you can use themÂ Just let me know.

greetings! I would love to have blackberry plants. I have many seeds available, and they are all organic heirloom's.

i have yellow crook neck squash, and the following heirloom tomatoes: yellow par, black krim, beefsteak & brandywine. I also have a bunch of california wonder pepper seeds.

I would also love to try some of your Anise Hyssop & thyme seeds if you have enough.

The seeds need stratification, so you will need to put them on moist vermiculite or perlite, and then put in a ziplog bag and store in the refrigerator for about a month. After a month, take them out and start them either indoor or outdoor. I remember starting mine around March, and I got flowers that same year. Now it is a little late. I am not sure if they will bloom this year; but if they don't, they will come back and be ready for next year. I put some in a jar with damp vermiculite and stored it in the fridge for about a month. Then I put the seeds in a tofu box with vermiculite, and I left it in a room indoor. And I got some seedlings in April: Since that was my first time, I thought I would do some experiment with different methods, so I also put some like this in a milk container: And I covered it and left it in my unheated garage. I got good germination this way too. But I started in March. Now your garage is probably too warm. And the result that year:

greetings.. you asked a good question Lucy.. I have microwave/convection oven at the end of my counter and it faces the window.. a good amount of light comes in thru there.. also, in the afternoon and on into the late afternoon, my bedroom window gets direct sunlight. So, between the 2 different directions of sunlight.. my plants would get a good 6 and more hours of sunlight.. I hope.. It's worth a try anyways.. And Penny.. thank you for your offer of seeds.. I love basil, and oregano and dill.. and also, I'm going to search Richter's, as suggested.. thank you.. Love, Light and Peace celtie

We bought most of our seeds from Horizon Herbs or Baker Creek Heirloom seeds. They were a bit more expensive, but we wanted organic, non-GMO, and they had what we wanted. Any company that labels it's seed as non-GMO and charging you extra for it is trying to rip you off. It is not possible for the general public to buy GMO plants. Its illegal. Putting that on their advertising is like saying "Anthrax Free" or "Non-Flesh Eating Bacteria Infected" on there. Everything you get is that way anyway, they're just trying to play up on the fears of the uneducated to sell more of their product.

I would love to trade for some blackberry plants. I have a large variety of peppers, sweet and hot and have a number of types of vegetable seed, squash, beets, radishes, beans, peas, tomatoes, artichokes and others.
