WANTED: Vegetable and herb seeds

Hello --

I just moved up to Asheville, and between moving, trying to transplant, but a very dry summer, I lost most of my plants -

I'm trying to plant mostly edible landscaping, with a garden out back. I'm looking for plants - blueberries, strawberries, dwarf plums/peaches, pawpaw, asparagus, or anything that I can grow easily without pesticides.

also, I would like garden seeds - tomato, zuchini, squashes, sweet peppers, eggplant, and asparagus bean seeds (the really long ones), Chinese pea pod seeds,

luffa seeds

--

I do have a few houseplants I can trade --

aloe plants

jade plants

plumeria/frangipani cuttings

or, some rose of sharron plants to trade (about 3-6")

eventually I have some thornless blackberry and lemongrass I can share - but I need to let it get a bit more established before I send it

and these seeds ---

bird house gourd seeds

papaya seeds (from Jamaica)

Soursop seeds (from Jamaica)

sweetsop, custard apple, sugar apple seeds (Jamaica)

I'm happy to send you some alfalfa and jack o lantern pumpkin (came from jack o lantern last year) seeds for SASBE. Let me know if you're interested.

Hi Melanie, sorry for your losing plants, good luck with your transplant, plants and all. Wish we lived closer, you'd be more than welcome to some plants that want to take over!
I've got all sorts of seeds, hope we can make a trade later on for plants, you sure have some I've been wanting.

My apologies to Sue/chemocurl, but I can't let this one go. The OP joins this site, shows no interest in becoming part of the GardenWeb community by not writing a personal blurb or filling out her/his trade list, and does not read the forum rules before posting as is expected of every new member. Then she/he proceeds to immediately violate forum rules with her/his very first post. Not a good way to get started here. IMHO you have every reason to be concerned about what is going on in the world as you have expressed, but panicking, acting irrationally, being "desperate", and "seriously freaking out" are not solutions and at best will only put you on an equal footing with 95% of the human population if a crisis indeed occurs. In other words, you will be toast. If getting a bunch of seeds with no further short term or long range planning will give you comfort and will put your mind at ease, then simply purchase a survival seed kit. There are many options available for purchase online from some dependable companies, do an internet search using keywords "survival seeds" and do some shopping. If nothing else, your purchase will help the economy. And forget about Bambi. I guarantee you that experienced hunters will immediately take all the deer if/when the food supply network collapses. Sorry to hear you lost your plants.I have some seeds you might be interested in for a few cuttings of your frangapani. Please E-mail me if you would like to make a trade.

Tomato- beef steak
Broccoli- Barbados
Peppers_sweet golden Cal.
celery- tall Utah
carrots- little finger
Kale-dwarf blue curled
and I also have herbs- dill, german chamomile

I would love to get some of your Thornless Blackberries when they are ready.
I will send you a full (around 20 packs) Bubble Envelope in trade.
I am in no hurry for the Blackberries so whenever they are ready is fine with me.
