I am interested in the "Pink Sensation" seed you have. I have freshly harvested Trillium luteum seed from an exceptionally tall variety to offer in exchange.

May I suggest Blue Imperial Giant larkspur. I've purchased this from seed, and it is the perfect plant for winter sowing. Also phlomis cashmeriana is unusual looking and has lavender colored blooms. I'm going to link to a photo below, but it appears more pink in the photo. It's halfway down the page. I also love Rocky Mtn penstemon, Wasatch Penstemon, and Pikes Peak Purple. Oh and Rondo mix, though it comes in pink purple and blue. I guess you'd have to pick it out while it's in bloom at the nursery to get just the blue/purple shades. All three in this photo are Rondo mix. I see I need to add some veronica and the salvia leucantha by those photos above. I think that adenophora is so pretty too, but I wonder if it could take this climate. Also I sent you an email offline David3511. I'm dying to know where to find the white epilobium in your photo. Rodja, I did not like Blue Paradise because of its floppiness here(I live near the North Sea- very windy) I'm kind of "allergic" to floppiness. Phlox Blaue Morgen has an identical colour but stands up much better(although not perfect to begin with). The best standing of the "blue" ones is Boguslaw's Blaue(from Germany). This one is storm-proof. The general rule here in Europe is , that English varieties of phloxes have bigger flowers, but German ones are more practical (healthier and less flopping). Thyme2dig, Yes, that is a larch in the background.....have lots around here. The temp fence is made of leftover fish netting that I got online. The black bird netting wasn't strong enough. It is actually sewn together into one piece with a none stretchy string strung through the top and bottom. I keep it rolled onto a bamboo pole when not in use. Most of the posts are just 1/2" rebar, cut 10' long. I pound in a length about 2', then remove it and set in the longer 10' length, but because I didn't have enough, I also used my 'cement in a pot' poles. The poles are about 10' apart. Tie the top and bottom strings to the first pole and wrap around, tying to each pole at top and bottom. For added support I also ran another string around the top and tied the net to it, helps hold it when we get the real wet snows. Hope I explained this clearly. Flora
