Hi I think you have looked at my list before but I have redbud seeds fresh 2011 from an old tree with great shape at the 1st national bank in fairfield iowa. have you checked out e-bay. there are adenium seeds there for sale from 10 to 1000 lots. I have ordered from a U.S. based seller (where the wild things grow) and was satisfied. but the real deals come from thailand and i have been afraid to order . A blog warned me that the colors they sell do not exist and have been photochopped to hook buyers. I would love to hear from any member that has ordered from them.

Souf, I have no way to contact you, so I hope you see the above. Smokymist, thank you! They're not so happy right now, though. :-( They were doing great for months in the grow tent for winter, and then I was stupid enough to introduce a plant from a local nursery into the grow tent with them. BAD CHOICE. The nursery plant apparently had both spider mite and whitefly eggs. I soaped them all; the adult adenium got angry about the insecticidal soap and shattered. All those pretty leaves and flowers, PLOP. At least they're hardy, and growing shiny new leaves now. I can tell you, though, I was well PO'd at the nursery--and my own foolishness--for messing up my babies. Anyway, I certainly won't be sending out anything live until I'm sure the nasties are gone for months. And no more nursery shopping. I don't trust them any more.

I'm not familiar with their germination rate. I grew some about 15 years ago when I worked at a nursery in Vero Beach. They certainly were the coolest looking seedlings and plants I have ever seen. I had the joy of going to a nursery years ago in Punta Gorda that only sold Desert Roses and plants in the Adenium family. It was so much fun to see the different shapes and colors.
