Wanted - Edible and/or Medicinal Seeds

Hi, new guy here... I didn't know how long people usually have seeds left after offering some up to people and didn't want to accidentally respond to an offer that wasn't still available so I'm posting this.

I'm looking to start a garden in Zone 9 and have never grown anything here before, so I'm not really sure what to try first, but I'm really interested in foods and medicinal plants that will do ok here (even if they might not, I'll give 'em a try). I wouldn't mind a few non-edible seeds too if someone wanted to throw them in with some other seeds, but I live in a trailer park, so I'm not going to spend a lot of time landscaping land that's not mine.

Basically, we're really broke right now because I'm not working at the moment but we're trying to eat healthier too thanks to my medical problems. If anyone can help with a head start that'd be great.

Im not sure where you live in Arizona but I have Amaranth (both leaves and seeds are edible) and Kentucky Wonder Pole Bean. Both of these do pretty well during our summers, but we do live in quite different environments. Email if youre interested.

Hi:
I'm starting to grow medicinal herbs here in Georgia. We have a very different climate. I can't grow many of the plants you can grow and vice, versa (humidity being one of the most determining factors, as well as water needs).
I would suggest you do some research and then get some seeds. Especially if you are new to gardening. Here is the best link for your zone (below). You also have to highly research herbs in general before you begin taking anything specifically for health problems. Immune and daily support herbs would be so much easier to start with for you (and safer to dose yourself with). Many of these are considered common weeds for which you can also try and wild forage in areas which are away from major roads, chemical fields of any kind, parks (where they apply pesticide and herbicide) etc.

I also have not received any seeds. I've seen no effort on Olivia's part to contact me. For what it is worth, I have participated in quite a few swaps within this community before and have always found them worth taking the chance...sometimes fantastically so. However, I walked into the swaps recognizing that it IS taking a chance, especially if someone is a first-timer at facilitating a swap, as in this case apparently. I don't plan to stop participating in swaps in the future, but find it wise to gamble no more than I can afford to lose.
