Can you transplant in 89-90 degree temps?

Our temps have been so erratic and so is my planting schedule. I need to put the last of my tomatoes in and temps are higher than I'd like, but I'd like to get this planting done with today. Temps are falling tomorrow and there's a chance of rain this evening and tomorrow. How much stress am I placing on solanaceous plants by taking them out of cups and putting in the ground today when daytime temps will reach 90 by 3 pm?
