Hi there. I'm new to this site and have found some great advice! Now I am looking for some more!

I am planning on putting barrier and bark down in some flower beds and am wondering what would be a good option for easy clean up? We have a tree that drops thousands of little seed pods, which make a real mess. I'm not even sure how I'd clean it out.

I am not sure what kinds of ground covers there are out there besides bark, peagravel, and rock.

This yard is so big - my mother-in0law planted lots of flowerbeds after her kids left for college. I have three very active kids, so can't keep up with it all. Thus the barrier/bark option, to cut down on weeds and the grass that tends to take over. I may be emailing you all pictures for some advice!
