Recipe for baking soda/milk powdery mildew spray?

My yellow squash plants were doing great and today I found my first sign of powdery mildew. I have neem oil, but would prefer not to kill the bees.

If someone would please share the ratios of baking soda (powder?), milk and water and instructions for spraying (once a day in the evening?), I would really appreciate it.

Also, should I cut off the leaves which have the beginnings of PM on them?

Any other advice is appreciated. I have backup seedlings growing, but was trying to get an early start so I could get some squash before the dreaded SVB appears in June. I am in NC zone 7 if it matters.

TIA!
