More than likely those blossoms did not get polinated and if they do not get pollinated they will simply shrivel up and die. If this is happening to most of your blossoms you may need to hand pollinate.

travelsfo It should probably be repeated that the tendency to develop BER has been linked to tomato genetics -- some varieties are more likely than others to be afflicted. Almost all Romas are vulnerable. But it isn't cut and dried. Some tomatoes, in individual circumstances, develop it and some don't. I think all you can do is reasonably fertilize, and add calcium if you wish (though many say that its addition doesn't affect the plant's ability to utilize it), and then see what happens. Your plants may develop it at the beginning of fruiting but not after that. If they have it all season long, don't drive yourself nuts! Just grow another variety the next year.
