Realizing the offer is closed, this is only a note. The bulbs look more like crinum than hippeastrum. Amaryllis do not have the long necks that crinum do.

Re: Temperature of Water in which to float seeds....it has come to my attention that you probably meant 82F and not celcius? lol we use the celcius scale here...82C is almost the boiling point of water (100C)...that s why I thought that they would be killed by it! 82F on the other hand...is about 28C...just a bit higher than room temperature...a heat mat would work fine for this.. lol it s a good thing it was mentioned that it may be F and not C...I was already looking for a way to heat it up to 82C! Also I m wondering: the seeds I bought from ebay which haven t germinated in 2 weeks have now sunk to the bottom of the container...they were floating initially... I ve read that only the non viable ones sink...does this mean that all of these are not viable? I m going to leave them in just in case though. Thanks! s
