Ok, so the reason I cracked and put together an order was that I wanted 3 more of the Ashwood Hybrids Hellebores (got three last year and can't wait for them to bloom).... when I started with the order there were 12 left. They were all gone by the time I put the order through :( But I kept the order anyway since for under $60 bucks I got all this.... Good thing I'm not into the new echinaceas and heucheras.... and last summer's order filled up my only shady spot with ferns and hostas. Otherwise it would have been worse.

I can smell it, and it IS supposed to be fragrant, however a lot of people can't detect it. It is faint compared to the Guacamole family. and VERY faint compared to Plantaginea. I have a cross of Salute x Plantaginea that is about the same degree of fragrance, so it is special to me mostly. There are some tastes and smells that are only detectable by some people who have the right genetics for it. We did an experiment on that in High School. I can't smell Lily of the Valley, but people tell me it smells great. Dave

Named ones= Begonia " Richardsiana" B." Snow Capped " B. "Tea Rose" B. "Hot Tamale" B. "Good and Plenty " B, "Tiny Gem " B. " Silver Queen " The Richardsiana has in pass week took a big flop , and so not sure whats up with it , taken it back into house , hope it was just heat stroking from 100 + daze we have been in for pass couple of weeks here in nastyville , so not sure about it. Two other's unknown named ones but pretty just the same and last one I think mite be B. " Sophia Cecile " not sure. I see you have " My Special Angel " have been looking at it in the catalogs . sorry I'm so long winded.... but sure there must be something in your long list that we can work with . P.s. Lots of work involved, but I believe it when you say that your plants are loving your compost! I have to say that I am envious with anyone whose hostas are now gone dormant! I am waiting for a freeze just so I can put my hosta containers away. It's cold and windy and I just don't enjoy the outdoors very much anymore. It's too cold for me! Now about Fragrant Blue, I remember a thread where forum members were discussing whether or not they could smell any fragrance from Fragrant Blue. I was surprised that many said that they could not. Mine does have a scent, but it is a light one. Nothing compared to something like Guacamole's stronger scent. Now doesn't that make it more confusing! In June: In August: In October:
