Share your hardening off technique

Hello all,

I have read so many instructions for hardening off in soo many books over the years and have never followed those instructions. I set my plants outside on a covered porch landing and leave them there for a week or so and then put them in my EarthBoxes. Years and years ago when I was an in-ground grower I did the same thing. I don't put them in the full sun but they get about 50% sun until they are planted. I only bring them inside if the night time temps are going below 40. If you can imagine a slight roof over a front door to a home with some steps and a top landing -- this is where my plants sit. What do you do to harden off your plants??
