I am still looking and wanting Aptenia blooms Yellow flower and also the one bloom White Flower. Willing to trade with my plants which is mostly cactus and High desert native plants, or to cover expenses including postage and handling. Thank you very much.

Re: the question about the Schick Hybrids in picture 629, I believe the varieties are (1) Anastasia (the white/pink), (2) Sasquatch (the orange), and (3) Edwardian Lady (the yellow/white/pink. All can be purchased from the Huntington, they have a great online catalog with pictures at www.huntington.org/BotanicalDiv/Schick/catalogintro.html, and if you're within driving distance during the week, their Curator of Desert Collections, John Trager, might be nice enough to let you pick them up in person (which got me a free entrance into the gardens there, absolutely beautiful). As to the dragon fruit cutting, I picked it up at a flower and garden show in April 2008. And yes, they grow very fast, especially when planted in ground. I'll see if I can find a picture of it earlier and post it.

I think it would be a good houseplant in OH, just be careful of sunburn if moving from indoors to out, i just leave mine in a window year-round. It is a nice looking and low maintenance house plant and the flowers are very impressive when they come out.

Tiffany, I planted them in March 24th. We've had an usually hot summer that started super early this year, like no springtime really occurred! Hah. But I bought them at the nursery and I tried to get Iris & Hyacinth at the same time and they said they didn't carry them till fall, cause that's when they have to be planted. I figured Glads would have been included in that equation as well? Adrian: How can I know if they rotted or not? I've seen them in other pots as well, on my backporch. I think they're connected with my mulch cause I've only ever seen them once I've mulched a plant. Not sure if that helps at all. Can thrips fly? If they are thrips, how do I get rid of them? I have neem oil spray... Thanks for your guys' help!
