Dyna-Gro Pro Tek?

I was looking into that product thinking it might be a good supplemental fertilizer to Dynamite which is 18-6-8, a little low on Potassium side. Is that a good idea? I am still having a hard time finding Osmocote 18-6-12 and Micromax locally. I tried some places but no luck so far and the fact that I am not a commercial grower doesn't help much. I found a couple online sources for them but I'm not ready to spend that much money into that yet.
I've been reading Dr. Carl Whitcomb's book "Plant Production in Containers II" and it's extremely useful. Amazing how much a proper fertilization can make a huge difference. With Osmocote 18-6-12 and micromax, You can triple the growth in one year for the trees in those rootmaker containers before planting out in the ground. That is amazing...
