Help with brick knee wall

I'm new here .... sorta. I was on Garden web years ago when we were building but have been gone so long that I even forgot my user name and password.

A couple years ago I built a sizeable patio onto our house. We've been talking off and on about landscaping more of the back yard and possibly enclosing part of it.

Recently my wife found some antique iron fence, so I bought it. I have roughly 90-100 feet. What I would really like to do is set the fence on a short brick knee wall with brick posts.

I'm needing some input on exactly how tall the knee wall and brick posts should be so the perspective with the fence looks correct.

. Fence is 48" high. I'm thinking roughly a 12" - 18" high knee wall and at least 6' high brick posts. I'm also thinking around 16" x 16" on the width of the posts. Probably will ultimately depend on what size brick I select to work with.

Anyone here have any insight on this.
Here is a rough drawing I made of the fence as it would look with the knee wall and posts
