WANTED: Anything for Zone 5

Hello!

I have the spring itch and am looking to pretty up the partial shade part of the yard without breaking the bank! (Bergenia, sweet woodruff, poker primrose, japanese forest grass, ligularia...)

I am willing to take ANYTHING off your hands! *wink* I am in zone 5 Upstate NY.

Vigorous? Awesome, it will cover up that ugly rock pile.

Finicky? No problem, a challenge for me to focus on instead of worry about finances *wink*

I will pay shipping... travel in the immediate area (Oswego, Fulton).

I have a couple things to trade but not too much.... So far things are just starting to come up, let's see:

Traditional Bleeding heart

Purple Columbine

Dragonfly Hybrid Columbine (yellow/white)

Red Dragon Persicaria

Avens (i think it is the orange one... could be red)

Lily of the Valley

Gooseneck Loosestrife

Hosta Seedlings

Bearded Iris

Pink ornamental strawberrys

Dragon's blood sedum

Pink Obedient Plant

Solomon's Seal

Trout Lilies

Trilliums

Trading depends on if these little guys are showing their heads yet. I have had success transplanting most of these guys in early spring before the flowers.

Hi Miranda--I have a good bit of Ajuga--Jungle Beauty if you would be interested in it. I'd be interested in your yellow/white columbine or red dragon persicaria whichever is peeking up yet (my husband's originally from Binghamton so I know how slow your spring is to come). LMK--Susan

I have both Passiflora incarnata and incarnata alba growing on the south side of my home here for more than 12 years. They have survived double-digit subzero temps for many winters. I obtained my plants from a source in Virginia (zone 6b) many years ago. The key to these plants surviving is well-drained poor soils and protection from excessive moisture. My incarnata alba is the stock plant plarent for 2 well-known Passiflora mailorder nurseries here in the U.S. I am definitely open to trades for either form. They are both very tolerant of cold winters!!!

Does your Datura drop a lot of seeds? Is it a bit rampant? I haven't had any experience with it. I've got some Coral Vine seeds that I could trade you guys.

Still looking for Japanese Forest Grass, Creeping Phlox, any spring bulbs, poker primrose.... lol, this could get to be a long list.

I have Black mondo grass, and Miniature Green mondo grass, Hyacinths(pink, purple, yellow, lavender, white), Hens and chicks, spearmint..Tons of it..lol I would be interested in Trillium and Iris, if your interested in anything I have..
