O.K., so trees don't have elbows, but you know what i mean!

Hello, all! This is essentially a question about elbow room. I'm concerned that the trees in the attached photograph might have been planted too close together. The intent was to block a road that borders the property, so a mix of evergreens was planted about 15, perhaps 20 feet apart in a staggered manner. Are they too close together?

There's a little more than 100 feet of field between the rocks and the evergreens, in which about a dozen semi-dwarf fruit trees will be planted, preferably in two rows. Exposure is Southern.

~ to be read with a spaghetti western inflection ~

Is there room enough in that there field for all them trees?

I hope i'm reflecting the distances properly. I should probably go out and measure. Tomorrow i will .... :)
