What to grow in a bed with root knot nematodes

I have a problem with root knot nematodes in one section of my garden. I'm planning on solarizing it in July and August, but I really hate for it to just sit there until then, so I'm trying to figure out how to use it. I have a few other areas that will have nematode resistant tomatoes, but I'm just not sure what should go in this spot to be done by July. Broccoli, maybe? Any other ideas? I'd like to plant some kind of bean, but I read they're pretty sensitive to the nematodes. Anybody know of any resistant varieties?

Thanks,

julia
