Free Shipping at Johnny's Seeds....

Not sure how long the code will keep working, but I used the code about a half hour ago and got free shipping on my order. I've been waiting for them to run a free shipping offer for awhile. 14-1003 is the coupon number if anybody else is thinking about ordering from Johnny's Seeds and doesn't want to pay for shipping.

I just placed my order and spent almost $13.00 in shipping. I forgot to check here first. :(

Code is still good, just used it. Thanks a lot! I had to make orders from many places this year due to needing some very specific things and the shipping was making me sad. Now I feel a bit better. :)

I've had great success with ohioheirloomseeds. Its a small company so the variety is a little limited but has all the variety's I was interested in and I always like to support good local business. Prices were really good and they have an ebay store that they have auctions for even better value. So far great germination rates and every seed was correct to description. Ive had good success with johnnies, there was a mix up on an order last year but was corrected unfortunatly too late for the season but it was corrected. Their variety is great and always had good germination rates. Burpee has been the least favorite mail order ive used as year after year they get my order wrong and respond very slowly to issues. The in store seeds at HD or lowes are good but are pricy and who knows what treatment the packs have had. I like my local garden centers for a lot of things but seeds. Unfortunately it seems like I have the worst germination rates from them.

Well, @ $3.95 the shipping is already there. There are a lot of places that you can buy tomato seeds for much less. Sample seeds sell small packet for $1.25 to $1.50. And they have more selections. So say you buy 20 packs you save $50. And if you pay $4.00 for shipping, you are ahead by $46 bucks.
