Going to college with Bonsai.

Hello,

I searched the Forums and FAQ to see if this was already answered. I didn't see anything about it, but I'm sorry if I'm repeating a question. Anyway...

I have just gotten in to Bonsai, and currently have one Jack Pine bonsai that has not yet sprouted. (I recently planted it.) At the end of August, I am moving to a dorm for college. This dorm has air conditioning in it, and I am rooming with two other people who would not be willing to turn the air conditioning off. I am worried that the cool temperature may affect my Jack Pine, as I've read it should be placed in summer conditions for this time of year.

Is there any sort of lamp I can place over it, or other way of keeping it nearer to it's natural climate? I can't put it on a windowsill outside, because the screens to the windows do not open, and I'm not sure I trust putting it anywhere else outside the dorms.

I would be very thankful if someone could help me out on this one.
