Plant suggestions tone down white impatiens in woodland garden

I bought white impatiens bc I thought I needed a little brightness in my woodland garden of oakleaf hydrangeas, beautyberry bushes and ferns, especially at various places at the border where it transitions into my front lawn. These are just too white -- looks like blobs of cotton. I can move them, but I wondered if anyone had suggestions on plants to put with them to tone down the white volume? Should have chosen a lacier type of white? as in Astilbe?

Suggestions on other "brighteners"?
