'Fishing village'

Some one asked about making a little "fishing village" I think a member of the forum pointed out that it was sort of murky territory, and that some serious bonsai folks might not think it was authentic. If your heart is really set on it, couldnt you get some nice little mud men, buy/make a divided pot and set one up how you like it? Just for your own sense of expresion. Like some musicians cross over to other styles of music, or painters try different genre occasionally, and then if your more traditional serious friends come over, take it out of the line up and set it on the picknick table :) We all have our guilty pleasures. I love those little porcelain pagodas, but I keep them sort of out of the way, and dont have them in the main line projects Im puttering with.
