Honing Donna Sandra counters??
Comments (4)I have Donna Sandra marble in my kitchen and absolutely love it! I had intended to get my tops honed before picking my slabs, but once I had decided on Donna Sandra I just loved the look of the polished compared to the pics I saw of honed super white. To me, I thought the honed super white looked more grey or something. Anyway, I think it's honestly just a personal preference. I will say though that I've had no issues with etching or anything on my tops and I've been using my kitchen for 15 months. Best of luck and you really can't go wrong - Donna Sandra is gorgeous!! :)...See MoreDonna R
Comments (0)Just received seeds from Donna. She is very generous with her seed. She is a pleasure to trade with and she care enough to remind me 3 times to open the seed envelop for further drying. She is very kind. Thanks, Donna....See MoreNew baby Dinky Donna is now practically all brown. Just the fall?
Comments (13)Let's just say I'm looking forward to seeing it arise vigorous in its little pot, which is buried in the soil for the winter. Also gathering paper sacks to winter over my geraniums, "Hang 'em high, hang 'em dry". Eying the volumes of fallen leaves (we seem to have skipped the yellow/orange/red leaves thing this year) to gather and place over the bases of my rose bushes. Yeah, winter is on its way....See MoreDonna and Carol...Thank you!!!
Comments (5)Thank you Donna! I can't believe its been five years since I got the seeds. I thought it was three years. Thank you for the list. I do have the list as I wrote it down, problem is I don't know which plant is what! The labels were blown away by my lawn guy over the years. I guess I'll try to find images online. I'd like to move the bunch growing in the shade of a tree. They have never bloomed and are much smaller. Is this a good time to dig up the bulbs? I'm in Florida so the weather is warm in the 80's. I'd love to move them now to the spot where I put the others. They are twice the size and in full, hot sun. Amazing. Today I noticed another scape/spike on the coral one. It has two fat buds. This is so exciting, I love how pretty they both are. Thank you so much for the thrill! Jane...See Morenannykins
