No. I’m a furniture restorer and refinisher . Just moved country recently and trying to envision my pieces in our new house which is being built right now. Clients have often said they’d love to get an idea of what a finished piece would look like in their own homes so I guess I have a personal and professional interest in how tech can help me.

We have pretty much the same as Elmer. Anything that comes across the TV, will come to my Computer, phone and I-Pad. I have down loaded these apps. If there is a siren alert in the City, etc., ...the town and County will sound a Warning Alert with it being repeated on TV, etc., and an explanation of what it is. Kind of over-kill maybe...but does give peace of mind if we are under a Watch or Warning of any possible disaster.

Not sure I understand but once you download the file to your phone does it not open when you click it or ask what to open with and you can pick that app? Does the file show the right extension? That's what would happen on android. Maybe try opening the app first and navigate to the file that way. Mary

That timer just plugs in and the cord connected to the lights just plugs into the timer, right? You could replace the Intermatic TN111RM40 for $18. Or you could try this Kasa Outdoor Smart Plug or meross Outdoor Smart Plug (or many others) if one of them would fit inside the box. $20. That Haven Stratus is a $300 low-voltage transformer. If you're using the Intermatic timer, the transformer must be after the timer or the lights are 120 volts.
