Paint color to match this bedding???
Comments (19)My first question - how old is your son? I think the sand/sea idea could be cute, but worry that the might grow out of it quickly. To make it more of a grow with him room, I love bead board up the wall about 4.5 ft. and then either blue or red above it. At the top of the bead board I would do a little lip shelf with (if the glass isn't an age problem) little old looking bottles with rolled paper in them, a cool treasure map painted onto a canvas, plastic pirates sword, any words you want to spell, etc. I see the bed facing out on the wall opposite the closets with a Jolly Roger Hung above it (I think this on red would be awesome) The dresser would be on the wall with the door right around the end of the bed. I like the bulletin boards on the wall between the windows with black frames to match the Jolly Roger. Baseboards really aren't hard to remove, and if you are careful they can go right back up over the beadboard. I've done it several times!! The beadboard wall paper may be just the thing for you for a kids room though!...See MoreMatching bedding to my curtains
Comments (16)Hopefully (since you said originally) you moved somewhere warmer :) it's freezing here! I would do olive and add maybe and something lighter purple than the eggplant. I would add texture with one of the pillows being something like faux fur and another pillow with a pattern for interest. Here are some sample pillows and color palette ideas. I usually just do two to three throw pillows so it's not pillow overload but that's up to you of course....See MoreBedding/rug match emergency!!
Comments (6)I’d go with a natural washed Belgian linen duvet cover and shams. Check sales at Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn. Then add bohemian pillows, a chunky woven throw, and accessories in the fabulous colors of your rug! What a find!...See MoreMatching curtains with blue and cream white damask bedding
Comments (3)Since you likely won't be able to match the material in the duvet, I'd select a blue and white patterned drapery panel that is taller than what you currently have. Place at least two panels on each side (more if you plan to close the drapery at night) I moved over the chest of drawers to center it on the space between the wall and the panels. The ceiling fan light is terrible so I changed that to just a plain fan and added a sunburst mirror over the headboard for a bit of sparkle....See More- 17 days agolinachoudhry thanked Celery.
