Help me choose exterior colors for my Tudor style house!
Comments (7)I'd call it Tudor, but its probably more accurately a storybook cottage. Whatever you want to call it, what a neat house. It's adorable! I'd prefer a light stucco with dark trim. It's just what looks right to me. The green you have now reminds me a little of the green used in the brick and timber frame farmhouses in northern Germany. My grandfather told me that they painted the wood green for good luck (or maybe it was to blend in with the moss) https://farm9.static.flickr.com/8689/17227343571_5c078f319f_b.jpg...See MoreHelp! What color to paint my home? Cedar shingle
Comments (5)Shingled column bases down to the floor level, then brick to match the fireplace from there to the ground. If the two columns either side of the stairs are close together, consider a single larger base. Are you set on the arched windows/decorative elements? First thing I noticed and they seem more appropriate for a different style house. And you will probably get better feedback by posting here: https://www.gardenweb.com/discussions/build Cedar shingles are usually stained, so you may want to state that instead of asking about paint -- unless you do intend to paint. As for color, for me beige doesn't equal beachy....See MoreHelp.. I don't know what color of shingles to replace my roof with.
Comments (5)Do you not like the current color? Are you planning on painting the house or trim at some point? If you like it, I say go with the current color, if possible....See MoreWhat color should I paint my house. Roof is orange/brownish shingle.
Comments (1)I'd go a nice crisp white and redo the landscaping with lots of lush greenery. Black door. Remove the shutters. White railing in front and maybe add thicker, square columns on the porch....See MoreBeverlyFLADeziner
