Thank-you. The company sent me the wrong item, I asked for the Laticrete Latasil Silicone Caulk Sealant, but they just sent regular Laticrete, which is OK since it will also get used. The shower is waterproofed to our city code standards, but various contractors waterproof showers "properly" in other methods. So far no water seems to get in behind the wall, it's very dry back in there and we don't use the shower at all when cracks appear - not until it is repaired. A tile contractor (the only one I can find who's website says they do "tile repair" and that comes recommended) said he actually won't come and make these kinds of repairs, he will repair his own work but that of others he removes and re-does it all, because he wants to be able to guarantee the work. I have not found anyone else willing to do the repair. So it's up to me, and I just want to make sure I have what it takes before tackling it! Thank-you for your advice about the caulk.

To further clarify, I just found a picture of a similar shower to mine. Instead, they inserted a premade plastic shower pan. As you can see in this pic, there drain is exactly center over the standing area. Im thinking I should either reduce the depth of my bench so that it is truly 3x4 shower pan so the drain is center. Or just move the drain forward 1.5 or 2 inches so that is centered.. I plan to install frameless glass very similar to this shower. So i realize that the drain will be visible from outside the shower and thus should probably be exactly center for aesthetic purposes.. To me, though, the bench in this picture (which i believe to be 11 or 12inch depth) is too shallow to sit comfortably.. The bench I made is very comfortable size wise, with room to lean back somewhat.. P.S. I am installing a custom mortar shower pan, and will not be using a premade... Would appreciate any opinions or ideas, as I am trying to put this pan in immediately.. Here is a link that might be useful:

I am ready to put in my sewage pump. My builder set up a vent pipe and pipe to tie into my lateral field right above where the pit is. The plumbing from the shower, sink and toilet all go into the pit from below the floor. My question is I would like to run a drain from a bar sink into the sewage pit but I cannot tie into the below ground pipes so can I run a drain to the vent pipe just above the sewage pit so that it would dump into the pit from above. It seems logical that it would work but I thought I better ask someone who knows more about this.

I know what you mean when you asked not to be judged... I heard lots of horror stories about Rayan home developments. Are the 1st 2 pictures of the shower pan and the lower 2 pictures of the bathtub? What state are you in? Some states require 1-3-10 homeowner warranty, that crack that you show could still be under homeowner warranty I would have that replaced. If not and you tight on money, you can repair that crack, they will tell you right away if it can be fixed. Most local plumbing supply stores can give you a contact number who specializes in these repairs and they do magic. As the drains go, the 1st picture the drain seems fine, the 2nd drain for the pan I'm not sure about that one, I would have someone check what is on the other side of that notched joist and how far is the drain from there, not to mention the notch itself to make sure it is code compliant.
