Looking for chairs to go with this table and chest - table has gold metal base. Looking for chairs to dress it down just a little. Comfy, too. For a beach house residence. Elegant but beachy if that is at all possible. The chairs below aren’t comfortable and come only in a cream fabric. Looking for some color. Thanks!

We move this weekend and I am totally overthinking my options for a new dining room table. The house is mid-century but with a modern farmhouse aesthetic. So I’m leaning towards transitional blend of things. The dining room and living room are open. The LR will have a mix of a soft white sofa with some more modern(ish) black chairs, natural wood accents, with a little grey and pops of royal blue/teal. What to do for a dining table though? Original wood floors are oak, barn doors are darker. The big window is curved and will have chairs but waiting to buy until I have dining table. Do I go with another shade of wood stain (farm table), or black, white, grey? Long rectangular, big round? Would love advice!

OK sounds like you have just enough space even allowing for chairs etc. I would tape out the 72" table and width of the chairs just outside of that to ensure you like the walking space if people are seated at the table. Painters tape works great for this.

I'm needing ideas for a full tablescape, please! Everything from runner, placemats, all plates, glassware, flatware, napkins, centerpiece, etc. I've attached photos of the table, rug, paint, and room.
