About Us

BOND DESIGN STUDIOS is a full service interior design firm specializing in new construction, renovations, & interior decoration. Founder and principal, Lauren Hinson, began her career in New York City working as an Executive Assistant at Polo Ralph Lauren. She moved on to work for interior designers Sam Blount and Sean Johnson; projects were located on Fifth Ave., Park Ave., Central Park West, and the Hamptons. This was followed by retail design positions at Michael Kors and Tiffany & Co. Lauren then joined Cole Haan as an Associate Design Project Manager where she helped create store layouts, sourced finishes, furnishings, and lighting for both new stores and renovations. She most recently worked on the design team at Hilton Worldwide where she worked on over one hundred renovations across the United States. Lauren received her degree in Interior Design from the renowned Parsons School of Design.

Lauren was the first designer I'd ever worked with, and she made the entire process collaborative and fun. She was able to meet me at my budget and help me identify areas to both save and splurge. She takes time to understand her customer's personality and mindset, not just their taste, and makes thoughtful recommendations. She is a perfectionist, and will not leave an installation, renovation, or delivery until everything is just right. She thinks 10 steps ahead and saved me from making some terrible design decisions. I'd hire again in a heartbeat.

Commented: Should headboard and chairs be different fabrics?There is no right or wrong answer. If you want a matchy matchy look - do the same fabric. Personally, I would do a different fabric. Stripes are always a great option - they never go out of style a...
