Mother of 3 young children, particularly fond of edible plants, fragrant plants, and unusual plants. I guess I love all them all... I also love music and the great outdoors, children, especially "planting things" and watching the growth and development process unfold.

Gardening challenged by mosquitoes, squirrels, slugs and deer and not enough hours in a day to garden. Other gardening interests include extending the gardening season, edible container gardening, and ecologically sound pest and resource management. Any advice/feedback is always welcome. Yes, and I am now a very grateful and recent kidney transplant recipient as of 2/25/06. I'm looking forward to finally being medically cleared to garden again this year. Any advice related to gardening as a transplant patient is welcome. Cheers and happy gardening!
