About me: I�m a retired community-college English teacher. I�ve gardened in Virginia for over 30 years. I�m a novice beekeeper with two hives. I started a small subscription garden business (CSA) three years ago. I supply 10 households with baskets of fruits and veggies every week for 22-27 weeks. I�m a compost whacko, and probably other kinds as well. Tomatoes and figs are among my enthusiasms.
