About me: I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to California in 1998 after my husband and I married. I garden in northern Santa Barbara County on the central coast of California. I work full time outside the home and I have two young children, two golden retrievers, and a new home. I love cottage gardens and roses and I don’t have nearly enough space or time to grow everything I want to. My garden is always changing as I find out what works well for me and what doesn’t. I am not afraid to shovel prune anything that doesn’t do well. Thanks for looking!
