About me: I'm a "city boy" who purchased a small, 8.5 acre "hobby farm" in early 2012. I've had a small vegetable garden all my life, but now I've got room to grow things I never could (watermelons, especially) and I'm loving it. After 30 years of growing vegetables, I'm pretty confident in that area and might even be able to help others. However, most of my time on GardenWeb is spent researching my new passion (& I've got it bad) - fruit trees. I know almost nothing about them but I am having the time of my life learning, experimenting, communicating with like minded people, etc. Over the last 3 years I have planted about 55 fruit trees (all types) and have plans for about 15 more. I've also planted-for the first time- rasberries, blackberries, grapes, and blueberries- just a few of each. I'm just north of Nashville, TN (zone 7a/6b) and always open to meeting people with similar interests and trying to learn from them.
Kevins Fruit Trees and Fruit Plants
Here is a list of all the trees and plants that I have in my orchard. While it looks fairly extensive, it really isnt because in the majority of cases I only have a single tree of each variety. Also, almost all of my trees were planted between 2012 and 2014, so they are all only 1-3 years old. In other words, I have a long, long way to go. But I had to start somewhere, and here is where I started:
