About me: Although I lived and gardened in Illinois most of my life, I spent 2 wonderful years in central Missouri landscaping with native plants. A year ago, I moved to eastern Montana. My 3/4 acre yard is nothing but a weed patch, but I have rolled up my sleeves and envision a spot for grains, vegetables, wildflowers, angora rabbits, chickens and who knows what else? My imagination is on fire!

Commented: Campion for Buckwheat? I grew buckwheat as a cover crop, then followed up with watermelon. It was the best watermelon I have ever tasted, which I attribute to the buckwheat.
