About me: love to do everything myself. design websites, cook, sew, knit, paint, decorate, etc., etc. i was a "martha stewart" before there was a martha stewart. my hubby teased me once about "becoming amish" when i told him i wanted to make my own shoes.

when i first wrote that i was new to gardenweb and thathomesite, and was thinking of building a home. that didnt work out (someone bought the lot we wanted) so we bought a home instead. were not remodeling the kitchen just yet, we need to decide if were staying in PA or not -- so im spending time in the garden instead. my goal is to have a cottage-type garden with LOTS AND LOTS of flowers and herbs and veggies and a brick oven. well see what i have to say in 2005, wont we?

hm. just realized i havent updated in a year. not much has changed -- we still dont know if were staying 2 more years or 5 more years. However, I do have a working garden which you can see at Stefoodies Garden -- Ive been harvesting quite a few flowers, herbs and veggies, but we might be leaving to go overseas for a few months, so I wont be able to enjoy my eggplants, tomatoes, and peppers -- bummer... hopefully some of my friends will. The brick oven will be put on hold until were in our PERMANENT residence. Right now Im cooking up a storm and writing about food at stefoodie.net. Come visit sometime!
