About me: Hi, my name is Lily, I am the mother of two pre/elementary school-aged children, run a business from home, and garden in my "spare time" ( :-) ). I enjoy growing culinary herbs, perennials, and edibles: everbearing strawberries, currants, raspberries, blueberries, and 9 fruit trees offering (soon!) 13 varieties of fruit.
We have now settled into our new home, finished landscaping our 1/4 acre lot, and are starting to enjoy the garden and yard.
My favourite plants are lavenders, ornamental alliums, fragrant and freckled lilies, any perennials with burgundy or variegated foliage, brightly coloured, tall/spikey or unusual flowers, and shrubs/bushes with seasonal colour.
