Commented: Help choosing a snowblower If it helps I have two very old ariens , a 64 and a 66 and they are great old machines... they came with 5-8 hp engines and they all work well if you take your time... I also have a 1990 simplicity 11...

Commented: Ariens snowblower problem you take the almost flat bottom cover off and wipe off the friction disc ( looks like a tire with a metal rim ) and wipe off the flat metal plate with rubbing alcohol... if that does not solve the iss...
