About me: Gardening is one of my favourite hobbies. I grow about 40 different varieties of hardy to the tip and crown-hardy roses. I’ve discovered I also enjoy growing lilies, hydrangeas and geraniums (pelargoniums). In the last few years, my husband and I have dabbled in giant pumpkin growing. I also grow a cherished ‘Dancy’ tangerine tree.

I am located in the prairie Chinook belt, at approximately 3500 feet altitude, which results in strong winds, fluctuating winter temperatures, hail, a short growing season, combined with alkaline clay soil. It's a challenge, but success is celebrated!

Some of the roses I grow are listed at http://www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=3.25059&tab=2
