About me: I live on the family farm where I was born, in a three generation household. Pop likes to tell me how to garden, Hubby likes to run the tractor, Sis likes to eat the produce and I do all the work. ;o)
After many years of gardening Pop's way, I am now slowly converting him to raised beds worked in the "Square Foot Gardening" method. Still can't convince him that the beds just need to be turned with a fork, (thank heavens the tiller is tractor mounted or he would be hoisting it in there) and I'm almost certain he snuck some fertilizer in a couple of the beds this year, but I love him anyway!
I am an RN; I work mostly on a Psych unit, but also do med/surg/cardiac/monitored care/rehab and anything BUT OB! I find that gardening keeps me from needing any other type of therapy - except maybe for aching knees!
