About me: I am married with no kids. We live on a suburban block in the Werribee area and also have 1 & 1/4 acre block nearby. I have a small orchard on it with all sorts of fruit trees. I have just set up posts for a small vineyard where I will grow different varieties of mainly table grapes. Hopefully we will move there in 2005 or 2006. I am interested in all aspects of the garden but particularly the edible part. I enjoy growing and propagating. I am not an organic gardener but try not to use chemicals wherever possible.

Commented: Muscadine Polination How do you determine if a muscadine is male or female. I have a few grown from seed and I was hoping to get fruit one day but if they are all male I may be out of luck.

Commented: Raised garden beds I'd give them 2-5 yrs depending on conditions - unless it is now made from some sort of alloy. You will see the outside is fine but they'll rust from inside out. Sheep wool?? That's a new one for me. ...
