About me: Life has been busy... settling into married life, taking care of the "fixer-upper house", working, and volunteering as a dog trainer for ADAI. I actually have enough space for vegetables and flowers in the yard. I've got a couple raised beds for the vegetables and then beds surrounding the house for flowers.
In addition to a husband, I have a cat and a labrador retrievers. Last summer, I experimented with a bunch of different veggies (some I wasn't even sure if I'd like). However, one dog decided he liked eating tomatoes right off the vine... arrgghh. I've got a community vegeatable garden plot that also lets me grow veggies that take up a lot of room. Hopefully the squash bugs and cucumber beetles allow me to harvest some of what's growing!!
In addition to gardening, my other hobbies include: photography, hiking, cross-stitching, and racquetball.
